Fenerbahce board member, Hakan Safi, has thrown his weight behind a potential move to bring Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen to the club, expressing his willingness to finance the deal personally.
Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, is nearing the end of his temporary stint with the Turkish side this summer, though he is yet to confirm his next move.
The Nigerian star has been in sensational form since arriving at Galatasaray last summer, scoring an impressive 31 goals in 36 matches across all competitions.
His contributions have placed the team on the cusp of clinching a domestic double.
His stellar performances have not gone unnoticed, with Safi revealing in a conversation with DeparSports that he is prepared to open his wallet to secure Osimhen’s signature.
“Let’s join forces and make the transfer. I’ll give the money if necessary,” he stated.
