A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dele Momodu, on Wednesday, released the school calendar of the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.
Momodu released the calendar showing Atiku with his classmates and late mother, following the certificate forgery allegation levelled against the former vice president.
The PDP candidate had come under fire over a discrepancy in the name on his WAEC certificate, leading to allegations that he forged his certificate.
According to Momodu, some members of the All Progressives Congress had questioned the name “Sadiq Abubakar” in Atiku’s WAEC certificate as against his other documents.
In his defence, Atiku explained that he sat for the exam as Saidiq Abubakar, but later did an affidavit affirming that both Sadiq and Atiku Abubakar belong to the same person.
However, Momodu in a post on X, berated those accusing Atiku of certificate forgery.
The Ovation Magazine publisher posted the school calendar and wrote: “Explanation is never tedious when you have nothing to hide.
“Unfortunately, supposed Democrats resort to bullying and threatening opposition over what should not take five minutes to establish the facts.
“Complete history of Atiku Abubakar with his classmates, his school calendar, and his dear beloved Mum.”
