The running mate of the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, Funke Akindele, has made a public appeal to her fans and supporters ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial elections.
In a video shared across her social media handles on Thursday, the Nollywood actress-turn-politician was seen educating her fans on how to properly vote for her party at the coming election.
The box office queen after detailing the right way and approach to make a valid vote for her party, pleaded to her fans to vote her party across all position.
In the video post which was captioned, “The general elections are finally here!!”, Akindele pleaded with her fans to vote her party across all positions come February 25 and March polls.
She said, “Yes, we’ve all been sensitized on how important it is for us to vote wisely at a time like this, however, it is also imperative that we all are properly educated on how to make our votes count without errors.
“Your votes in the coming election will determine the future of our great country, Nigeria. So let’s make it count!”
