President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, received the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom, James Cleverly in the State House, Abuja.
Cleverly is meeting Tinubu in Nigeria to discuss stronger partnerships between both countries.
The News Agency of Nigeria reported that, in a statement on Monday, the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office said Cleverly’s visit is part of a four-day trip to Africa which he began on Monday in Ghana.
The statement said during his visit to Nigeria, Cleverly will meet with President Tinubu and key government officials to discuss a positive future of partnerships.
The aim of the visit to the country is to drive economic growth and trade, and investment opportunities.
