The factional Chairman of the Labour Party Lamidi Apapa was on Wednesday booed at Presidential election tribunal.
In an online video, a large crowd was seen shouting ‘ole’ in yoruba language which translates to thief.
Policemen were also seen shielding Apapa from the crowd as he struggled to get to where his car was parked.
Prior to this, Apapa and his entourage were seen fighting over seats reserved by members of the party for the party’s leadership at the court.
In the video, Apapa said, “I’m talking to you, who are you? I’m representing Labour Party here and you can not sit down here. I have the right.”
Apapa, has been attempting to take over leadership of the party since the 2023 presidential election was concluded.
