Torino extended its unbeaten streak to five matches after a late equalizer from substitute Gvidas Gineitis secured a 1-1 draw against Lazio in Serie A on Monday.
The home side took the lead early in the second half when Adam Marušić found the net with a spectacular strike.
Lazio appeared to have a chance to double its advantage from the penalty spot, but the decision was overturned following a VAR review.
Despite dominating the attacking play, Lazio was unable to capitalize on its opportunities.
Torino eventually found its breakthrough when Lithuanian midfielder Gineitis calmly side-footed the ball into the net with just eight minutes remaining, bringing his team within a point of the top half of the table.
Paolo Vanoli’s squad has not suffered a defeat since falling to Bologna on Valentine’s Day.
Lazio, meanwhile, remained in seventh place, level on points with city rival Roma.
