The President, Bola Tinubu has inspected his guard of honor following his inauguration as the 16th democratically elected president of Nigeria.
Premium Politics reported that Tinubu who took over from Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), was officially sworn in after taking his oath of office by the Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola on Monday at the Eagles Square.
Shortly after this, Buhari was reported to have taken his leave as he departed back to Daura, Kastina State.
Tinubu is expected to officially assume duties as the president on Tuesday, 30th of May, 2023.
