The newly inaugurated Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, on Wednesday, visited the national Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Adelabu made this known on Thursday, as he shared pictures from the visi meeting.
The former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria described the visit as courteous and one filled with congratulatory remarks, as Ganduje also was just recently elected the party chairman in August.
Adelabu, via his X handle, wrote, “It was a congratulatory galore during a courtesy visit to the office of the APC National Chairman @GovUmarGanduje
“We congratulated him on his new role of steering the wheel of our great party APC, to actualize the ‘Renewed Hope’ promise of quality governance for all Nigerians.”
In 2019, he was the Oyo State governorship candidate for the APC.
On July 27, 2023, Adelabu was included in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 28-man ministerial nomination.
He was made minister of power on August, 16, 2023.
