The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, have been officially inducted as the Patron and Patroness General of the Boys Brigade Nigeria and Girls Brigade Nigeria.
The induction was announced by RCCG in a Facebook post on Tuesday, highlighting the honour as recognition of the couple’s unwavering dedication to the growth and development of young people within the church and beyond.
The post read, “Our Father-in-the-Lord and Mother-in-Israel, #pastoreaadeboyeofficial and #pastorfoluadeboye, were inducted as the Patron and Patroness General of the Boys Brigade Nigeria and Girls Brigade Nigeria.
“The decoration is a testament to their commitment to the all-around growth and development of young individuals in RCCG and around the world. Glory be to God.”
The Boys Brigade and Girls Brigade are long-standing Christian youth organisations in Nigeria, focused on instilling discipline, fostering service to God, and nurturing godly character among young people. They operate across churches and institutions nationwide and are known for their structured approach to youth leadership and moral development.
Within their leadership framework, patrons and patronesses serve as spiritual mentors and figures of influence, guiding the next generation in faith and service.
