The Independent National Electoral Commission has started the collation of results for the 2023 Presidential elections at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
The event was scheduled to start by noon, but started some minutes past 1PM.
The INEC Chairman while declaring the event open stated that the collation would run day and night until the final announcement of result and would only take short breaks.
The 2023 Presidential election is a tight horse race between three contenders, Atiku Abubakar of PDP, Bola Tinubu of APC and Peter Obi of Labour.
The 2023 elections has been so far been far from perfect as it was marred by different irregularities in different states, although the electoral promised a free and fair elections.
