The former senator, representing Kogi west, at the Nigerian Senate, senator Dino Melaye has been causing scenes at the national collation center, Abuja.
The former lawmaker, requested that the Ekiti State election results, announced yesterday should be scraped and order for a new election in the in the state.
Dino Melaye, made this request, noting that, there was an over-voting in the results that came out of the state, according to his calculation.
However, some of other party agents, including an APC agent, noted that the results declared by the electoral umpire can not be overturned by anybody, as it is stipulated by the constitution.
Meanwhile, while the other party agents requested Melaye to challenge the results in the court, he insisted that the proceeding has to stop, threatening the electoral umpire.
