Ahead of the 2023 Presidential election, the Peoples Democratic Party on Thursday constituted its 326-member presidential campaign council.
While the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, was named the Director General, his Akwa-Ibom State counterpart, Udom Emmanuel, was named the Chairman of the council.
The National Organising Secretary of the party, Capt. Umar Bature, who signed the document confirmed its authenticity to newsmen.
The organisation will be deputised by the Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed – for the northern region.
Also, the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, will deputise for the organisation in the South.
