Former Super Eagles head coach, Christian Chukwu, has passed away at the age of 74.

Back in 2021, Chukwu was at the center of widespread death rumors, which he strongly debunked during his 70th birthday on January 4 of that year.
Reacting to the false claims, Chukwu stated, “I am terribly embarrassed with this news that I am dead. Several people have been calling me from across the world since the news broke. I am still investigating the source of the story.”
