Controversial Nigerian singer, Okikiola Badmus, widely known as Portable, has been granted bail by an Upper Area Court sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The court approved bail in the sum of ₦1 million following his arraignment on multiple charges, which include criminal defamation, intimidation, cyberstalking, and inciting public disturbance.
As part of the bail conditions, the judge ordered that Portable must present two sureties in the same amount.
One of the sureties must be either the Chairman or Secretary of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, while the other is required to own a property in a Government Reserved Area, complete with a valid Certificate of Occupancy.
