The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has signed the state’s 2023 Appropriation Bill into law.
This was revealed by the governor through his official Facebook page on Thursday evening.
Abiodun said he would ensure full execution of all the provisions in the N472,250,694,447.57 Appropriations Bill as voted earlier in the day by the State House of Assembly in order to maintain the momentum of his administration’s “Building Our Future Together” program.
“This evening, we signed the 2023 Appropriation Bill into Law. The “Budget of Continued Development and Prosperity” is estimated at N472,250,694,447.57.
“We appreciate the leadership and members of the Ogun State House of Assembly, under the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo for their diligence as regards this bill, which is a reflection of the people’s priorities and preferences.
“As the Executive arm, we pledge full and upright implementation of all items in the budget to sustain the widely lauded momentum of the “Building Our Future Together” agenda of our Administration.” He stated.
