Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila has urged Nigerians to speak with one voice.
Also, the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, urged Nigerians to have faith in Nigeria and also to be united.
The duo made this known in their new year messages to Nigerians through a press statement.
Lawan praised and praised the people for believing in their country and always supporting efforts to establish a strong nation.
The Senate President also advised Nigerians to take advantage of the possibilities to participate actively in the present electoral process.
Meanwhile, Gbajabiamila expressed optimism about the prospects and possibilities that lie ahead, urging Nigerians to be steadfast and determined as a nation.
He stated that 2023 will be a watershed moment in Nigeria and urged citizens to “be unified and speak with one voice.”
The Speaker also said that, “the year 2023 will be significant for Nigerians, being the year that citizens will elect new leaders to pilot the affairs of the country”.
