In the build-up to the 2023 Presidential elections slated for February 25, President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) has again drummed support for his partyman, the APC Presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu
“I am not a contestant in the coming election, but my party, @OfficialAPCNg, has a candidate in the person of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I am calling on all of you to vote for @officialABAT. He is reliable, a true believer in Nigeria, and he will build on our achievements.” Buhari made the announcement on Twitter.
Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) who is away in Ethiopia sympathized with Nigerians on the hardship they are going through as he says the policies would bring about improvement to the country.
“I am fully aware of the current hardship being faced as a result of some policies meant to bring overall improvement to the country.
“I’m appealing to you to exercise further patience as we take measures to ease these hardships. God willing, there is light at the end of the tunnel” Buhari said.
However, the disposition of the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, doesn’t suit the support of Buhari, as the APC candidate has on many occasions stated the current demonetization policy is targeted at him.
