President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Sunday, left Lagos for Abuja the nation’s capital, where is expected to resume back to his duty on Monday.
The President visited Lagos, his country home on Tuesday, in preparation for the 2023 Eid-el-Kabir, to celebrate the Salah with family, friends, and his teeming supporters.
It would be recalled that since President was inaugurated to the office on May 29, 2023, his recent visit was the first he will time he will be coming to the state.
However, the President who had earlier left for France for a Global Summit, as well as the United Kingdom for a private visit, was received at Muritala Muhammed International Airport by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Some Lagos State Government Official, friends, party members and some other supporters who escorted him to his Lagos residence from the airport.
He was on Wednesday, welcomed by Chief Imam Abu Naola, to observe his Eid prayer at Obalende Muslim prayer ground in Lagos.
Similarly, he was officially hosted in a welcome party at the Lagos State House in Marina on Wednesday, by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. An event that was attended by the bigwigs in the society.
On Thursday, the President visited the Awujale of Ijebu land, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, and proceeded to the Palace of the Alake Of Egba land, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo Ill, from there.
Similarly, he observed his special Jummat Prayer at the popular Lagos Central mosque at Nnamdi Azikiwe Road on Lagos Island, on Friday.
He also visited the Oba of Lagos, Oba Ridwan Osuolale Akiolu, at his Iduganran palace on Saturday.
However, he departed Lagos for Abuja, the country’s seat of power on Sunday, July 2, 2023, to resume duty hopefully on Monday.
