The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, has arrived in Lokoja, Kogi state capital.
Dr Ganduje arrived Kogi government house alongside the governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, on Friday, September 1, 2023, in preparation for the inauguration of the National Campaign Council, for the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
The development was disclosed via a post on the official X handle of the party, with a video that shows the arrival of the chairman.
APC had earlier announced that the inauguration would take place at the Conference Centre of the Kogi state government house, on Saturday, September 2 through Sunday, September 3, 2023.
Disclosing the arrival of the chairman of the party at the government house, APC wrote: “Arrival of the National Chairman of our great party @OfficialAPCNg to Lokoja Government House along with Governor of Kogi State His Excellency Yahaya Bello in preparations for the inauguration of the National Campaign Council for Kogi Gubernatorial Election taking place tomorrow.”
