The former President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has arrived his hometown, Daura, Katsina State.
Buhari had over the past months stated how he was looking forward to leaving the Aso Villa for his hometown to rest from his work as president for eight years.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been sworn-in as the newly inaugurated President of Nigeria on Monday, May 29. This automatically vacates Buhari of his office.
His helicopter arrived Daura some minutes ago, according to Daily Trust.
