President Bola Tinubu is set to attend the inauguration of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa in Pretoria, South Africa, today (Tuesday).
This event marks the beginning of Ramaphosa’s second term in office following his recent re-election.
According to a statement released yesterday by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, “President Bola Tinubu will, June 18, depart Lagos for Pretoria, South Africa, to attend the inauguration of President Cyril Ramaphosa.”
The statement further indicated that President Tinubu would return to Nigeria immediately after the swearing-in ceremony. “President Ramaphosa’s inauguration follows his re-election for a second term. President Tinubu will return to Nigeria after the ceremony,” it said.
