As World Teachers’ Day is being celebrated around the world on Thursday, October 5, 2023, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to recruit more teachers in the state.
Governor Makinde who disclosed this while celebrating the teachers in the state, said the recruitment will take place in the state-owned schools in Oyo State.
The governor however expressed appreciation to the teachers for all they do in the educational development in the state.
However, governor Makinde prayed for their reward both on earth and in heaven.
“On this World Teachers’ Day celebration 2023, we reaffirm our commitment to recruiting more teachers for our state-owned schools in Oyo State.
“We thank you, teachers, for all you do. May your rewards be both in heaven and here on earth,” Governor Makinde tweeted.
