The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Francis Nwifiru as the winner of the March 18 governorship election in Ebonyi State.
The Apex Court on Friday dismissed a petition filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chukwuma Oddii of the Peoples Democratic Party, and affirmed the judgement of the appeal court, which had earlier confirmed the victory of Nwifiru, who was the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the election.
