The Vice President, Kashim Shettima, was reportedly in talks with key members of the House of Representatives on Tuesday evening.
The meeting, which took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, was led by Speaker Hon Tajudeen Abass, according to The News Agency of Nigeria.
Other high-ranking members of the House of Representatives are also in attendance, including the Deputy Speaker, Hon Benjamin Kalu.
This marks the first time the House leadership has met with the Vice President since they assumed the roles of Speaker and Deputy Speaker, respectively.
