The President of the 8th Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, has inaugurated the Nigeria-Angola Business Forum in Angola.
Saraki, who made this known via a post on his X handle on Saturday, said the event serves as an affirmation of the ‘burgeoning ties’ between the two countries.
The former Kwara State governor, who acknowledged that the association has the potential to play a vital role in promoting trade and investment between Nigeria and Angola, said he was honoured to have inaugurated the Business Forum.
He, however, commended the forum for the opportunity given to him to serve as their Grand Patron, expressing hope that the association will serve as a vital bridge, fostering stronger economic ties between the two African countries.
Saraki, who also posted the video of the event wrote, “The evening was not just an epitome of diplomacy and business collaboration but also an affirmation of the burgeoning ties between our two great nations.
“I was particularly honoured to have inaugurated the Angola-Nigeria Business Forum, under the capable leadership of Chief (Mrs) Vivy Ejindu. This association has the potential to play a vital role in promoting trade and investment between our two countries.
“I thank the forum for their generous invitation to serve as their Grand Patron and I do not doubt that this association will serve as a vital bridge, fostering stronger economic ties between Angola and Nigeria.”
