The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, has approved the payment of March 2025 salaries for civil servants, pensioners, and all suspended political appointees in the state.
This was disclosed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Ibibia Worika, in a statement issued to newsmen in Port Harcourt on Friday. Prof. Worika explained that the payment aligns with the commitment made by the Sole Administrator to the people of Rivers State.
According to Worika, Vice Admiral Ibas directed the Accountant General of the state to ensure that the payments are made immediately without delay.
He stated, “This decision is in line with the commitment pledged to the people of the state by the Administrator. The Accountant General has been directed to make the payments promptly to avoid any further delay.”
