Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has assured residents of completing all World Bank projects in the state irrespective of where they are sited.
Mutfwang said this assurance is in line with his administration’s resolve to positively make a difference in the improvement of the living conditions of the people.
AIT News reported that he gave the assurance during the launch of the World Bank-initiated Agro-Climatic Resilience Semi-Arid Landscapes Project In Plateau.
The Agro-Climatic Resilience Semi-Arid Landscapes project is about refilling the land to make it serve mankind as well as addressing the issue of water for drinking and irrigation.
Mutfwang, while launching the Project, renewed pledge to ensure value for money on all projects and programs being executed in the state.
He expressed optimism that when completed, the projects will also generate employment for the teeming youths of the state.
He said, “Beyond refilling the land to make it serve mankind and create employment, the Agro-Climatic Resilience Semi-Arid Landscapes Projects when completed on the Plateau, will address the issue of water for drinking and irrigation”.
