Alex Otti, the newly elected governor of Abia State, delivered his acceptance speech on Wednesday after winning the state governorship election.
After completing the suspended collation of results, the Returning Officer, Prof. Nnenna Oti, declared the LP candidate the winner at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Umuahia, the state capital.
Otti received 175,466 votes, defeating his closest competitor and People’s Democratic Party candidate, who received 88,526 votes.
On his Twitter page, the governor-elect posted photos from the acceptance speech ceremony.
