The former Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, on Sunday, attended the thanksgiving ceremony of the Deputy Governor of the State, Monday Onyeme, as he celebrates his election victory.
Ifeanyi Okowa, who graced the occasion with his wife, shared pictures from the event in a tweet, praying that the new administration is endowed with wisdom and discernment to govern the affairs of the state in a manner that is beneficial to all citizens.
He wrote, “This morning, we joined His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, and his family at St. John’s Anglican Church, Ibabu, for a Thanksgiving Service to celebrate his inauguration.
“As His Excellency has returned to give thanks to our Almighty Father in Heaven, we pray that God will continue to give him, our dear Governor, and other leaders of this great state the wisdom and discernment to govern our affairs in a manner that is beneficial to all our citizens. Amen!”
