The 36th Federal Minister of Sports Development, Owan Enoh, has resumed work immediately after swearing-in.
He was welcomed by the Permanent Secretary, Alhaja Ismaila Abubakar, with his Directors who expressed eagerness the Minister to hit the ground running.
Enoh assured the staff that this is a team work and he will run an open door policy. “Let us move Nigeria forward with sports contributing to our GDP significantly”.
Enoh was a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2015 representing Central Senatorial District of Cross River State in the 8th Assembly of the Senate.
He was a member of the People’s Democratic Party up until May 2017 when he decamped to the ruling All progressive Congress and contested for governorship election and lost to incumbent governor Ben Ayade.
