The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje on Sunday, received the APC Governorship candidate in Plateau State, Nentawe Yilwatda.
Yilwatda visited Ganduje at his residence in Abuja, to officially inform the Chairman of the appeal court judgment that declared him governor-elect of the state.
Premium Politics reported earlier, that the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja, had on Sunday sacked Governor Caleb Muftwang of the Peoples Democratic Party.
A three-man panel of justices of the court ruled that Muftwang was not validly sponsored by the PDP, as provided by Section 285(2) of the Nigerian Constitution.
However, the court declared Yilwatda as the lawful winner of the March 18 Governorship Election in Plateau State.
