The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero on Friday, paid Salah homage to the governor of the state, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The traditional ruler visited governor Yusuf during the traditional Hawan Nasarawa durbar at Government House on Friday.
The event was attended by hundreds of well wishers who lined up on the state road to welcome the Emir.
However, the Emir was received at the popular African house, built within the palace.
Governor Yusuf and other notable people in Kano, received and entertained the emir, during the visit.
The governor had earlier visited the emir at his palace on Thursday, as part of the traditional Hawan Daushe celebrations, in the town.
However, the Emir who reciprocated, while speaking during his visit at the occasion on Friday, emphasized the history of the traditional durbar which strengthened ties between the Emirate council and the state government.
However, he expressed his gratitude to the state government for the support to the Emirate, while also called for smoother relationship between the state governor and emirate.
He however, appreciated the governor for his rapid achievements in the state within a short period of time in the office.
