The chief of staff to former President Muhammadu Buhari, Ibrahim Gambari had on Monday, handed over to his successor, Femi Gbajabiamila, as the new head of staff.
Gbajabiamila, who is the outgoing speaker of the House of Representatives was appointed by President Bola Tinubu, during a meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum, at the presidential villa on Friday, June 2, 2023.
Meanwhile, the new Chief of Staff is to assume office, on the 14th of June, 2023.
However, the handing over event that took place at the state house in Abuja on Monday, June 5, 2023, was witnessed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as reported by The Cable.
Gbajabiamila, who won his re-election to the green chamber for the fifth term, as a lawmaker representing Surulere constituency at the Federal assembly, was yet to receive his Certificate of return, for winning the last election, when the new appointment came in.
