Former President Muhammadu Buhari has granted his first interview after leaving office as president on May 29, 2023.
The interview which took place at Buhari’s Katsina home in Daura, Katsina State, was granted to the Nigerian Television Authority.
The former Nigerian military president who left office on May 29, 2023, after spending two tenures of 8 years as a civilian president, from May 29, 2015, to May 29, 2023, has not granted any interview since he left office.
However, announcing the interview via a post on X, former Presidential Spokesman, Bashir Ahmed said: “Yesterday at his residence in Daura, former President @MBuhari granted an exclusive interview to @NTANewsNow. His first interview since leaving office in May 2023.”
