The National Leadership of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress is holding its parley meeting with the newly elected Members of the House of Representatives and Senate, today.
Recall, the notice of today’s meeting was contained in a communique, signed by the National Secretary of the party, Dr. Iyiola Omisore and made available on the Twitter handle of the party.
According to the communique, the national leadership of the party will be meeting with the newly elected members of the national assemblies, today, Monday 13th March, 2023.
The invitation of the meeting, which was made available on the party’s Twitter handle, stated that the meeting will be held at the state house banquet hall, Aso Rock Villa, Abuja, by 2:00PM on Monday.
The Presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, won the last presidential election in Nigeria. The victory that gave the party , another four years of ruling the country.
APC took over the country’s political space in 2015, when the then, party’s candidate, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), won the 2015 presidential election, to defeat the incumbent president, Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party.
However, the expected leadership of the party and the elected members of the House of representatives and Senate, are holding the meeting, at the state house banquet hall, Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
Some of the members at the meeting are; The President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima, Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, other key members and the national assembly members-elect.
