Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, has generously rewarded Remo Stars with N10 million following their triumphant 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League title win.
The Galatasaray striker split the cash gift equally, N5 million to the players and another N5 million to the team’s technical crew, as a token of appreciation for their hard work and resilience.
Osimhen, while lauding the team, offered heartfelt praise for their determination and strength throughout the season.
Remo Stars clinched their maiden NPFL title on Sunday after edging Niger Tornadoes 1-0 in a tightly contested match held in Ikenne.
It was Olamilekan Adedayo who etched his name into club folklore, netting the decisive goal in the 84th minute.
With this feat, the Sky Blue Stars have become the first privately owned club to lift the league title since Julius Berger achieved the same milestone back in 2000.
