Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has committed to prioritizing residents’ welfare if elected in the November 16 governorship election, emphasizing his dedication to healthcare and infrastructure improvements.
During a campaign tour in Ifedore Local Government Area, Aiyedatiwa, the All Progressive Congress candidate, reassured the community of his resolve to deliver quality governance.
He promised that his administration would focus on healthcare, road construction, and essential infrastructure, emphasizing that he would not be swayed from these goals.
Addressing the needs presented by local leaders, Aiyedatiwa thanked the traditional rulers, acknowledging the significance of their support. “Your respect for our traditional institutions has earned our trust,” said the Olowa of Igbara-Oke, Oba Adefarakanmi Agbede, who outlined the community’s priorities, including road rehabilitation, better healthcare services with a resident doctor at the Basic Health Center, clean water access, and flood control measures.
Aiyedatiwa responded to these requests, promising swift action and reinforcing that his administration’s people-centered development agenda would benefit everyone. He urged unity and ongoing support from the community during the campaign and beyond.
“Our government belongs to all of you, and your welfare is our priority. Together, we will achieve more,” Aiyedatiwa affirmed.
