The 2023 Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, and the immediate former Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa Tuesday, celebrated the immediate former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, on his 57th birthday.
Celebrating the former Governor through a Twitter post on Tuesday, Dr Okowa described him as a brother and friend, who left behind, a legacy of significant impact on the lives of many, through dedication, exceptional skills, and a commitment to outstanding, throughout his tenure as governor of Akwa Ibom State.
He however wishes him continue success, good health and boundless happiness, on his special day.
“Today, I celebrate my dear brother and friend, @MrUdomEmmanuel, the immediate past Governor of Akwa-Ibom State as he turns 57 years.
“Throughout his time as governor, he exhibited dedication, exceptional skills, and a commitment to outstanding achievements and leaving behind a legacy of significant impact on the lives of many.
“This is why, as I join your family, associates and friends to celebrate this special day, I wish you continued success, good health, and boundless happiness,” Dr Okowa wrote.
Mr Emmanuel, a former banker, Was born on July 11, 1966, and contested for the position of governor in Anambra State, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, and won in April 2015.
However, he served two consecutive terms as the governor of the State, between May 29, 2015 and May 29, 2023.
