The former Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, has felicitated the incumbent Governor of the State, Sheriff Oborevwori, as he turns 60 on Monday, June 19.
Okowa celebrates his successor via his Twitter handle, eulogizing him as being passionate about the development of the state, even before becoming the governor.
He wrote, “For as long as I have known him, the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has always been passionate about the development of Delta State and the improvement of the lives of its people.
“Over the years, in his previous position as the Speaker, and now as our Governor, he has continued to work assiduously to advance the interests of our state — showing the capacity to perform and a staunch commitment to uplifting countless lives.
“This is why, today, as he celebrates his 60th Birthday, my family and I join the great people of Delta State to celebrate our dear Governor and to pray that Almighty God continues to bless him with wisdom and great health as he continues to serve our state, the nation and humanity.
