The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is currently leading by a wide margin in Ondo state, having won 12 out of 13 Local Government Areas announced.
His counterparts, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has won one, while, the standard bearer of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has so far polled 24,097 votes with the New Nigeria Peoples Party flagbearer, Rabiu Kwankwaso, having 483 votes.
Ondo state has 18 LGAs, so, results from the remaining five LGAs are still expected to be announced on Sunday evening.
Tinubu secured a total of 232,282 votes while Atiku got 106,253 votes.
