The Independent National Electoral Commission has been requested by the Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organization to void all results that have already been tallied and declare the election inconclusive.
Channels Television reported that the campaign spokesman, Daniel Bwala, revealed this in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the statetment, the campaign requests that INEC:
“Immediately halt national collation and respond to the parties’ complaints about BVAS bypass and electronic results transmission.
“Schedule a date for the elections to be held in the affected areas, and make sure the results are posted in accordance with the regulations. The aforementioned elections must be fair and free, and BVAS must be applied appropriately.
“Cancel all the results that have been compiled and declared thus far until such time that all the results that have been compiled at the polling places alone be uploaded to INEC’s server, and duplicate copies of which all party agents have for the sake of transparency.”
Lastly, it added that election should be declared inconclusive and a date should be designated for new elections to be held in places where BVAS was not used and where violence has suppressed people’s right to vote.
