The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the ongoing governornship election in the State, Senator Dino Melaye, has failed to cast his vote.
According to The PUNCH, Melaye failed to cast his vote at his vote at Polling Unit 04, Iluafon Quarters, Ayetoro Gbede in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Despite the presence of his aides and supporters, Melaye did not show up until the voting concluded at 2 pm on Saturday.
The reason for his absence during the voting remains unknown as of the time of this report.
