The 2023 Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, will on Thursday, November 9, 2023, attend the Grand Finale of the PDP Governorship Campaign in Kogi state.
This was made known by one of the Spokespersons to Atiku, Demola Olarewaju, through a post on his X handle.
Olarewaju described the alliance as a natural political outcome, following Senator Dino Melaye’s unwavering commitment to the previous campaign efforts of the former Vice President.
Melaye, who is contesting the governorship position in the state, under the platform of the PDP, served as one of the spokespersons of Atiku’s campaign team and was also the chief agent of the party, at the National Collation Centre during the presidential election.
Making Atiku’s movement known, Olarewaju wrote on X: “I can confirm that the National Leader of the Opposition PDP will be in Lokoja today for the Grand Finale of the PDP Gubernatorial Campaign.
