At least nine lawmakers and five Local Government Chairmen have been suspended by the Kogi State Assembly on Thursday.
Reports revealed that the suspension of the lawmakers has been linked to anti-party activities in the March 18 House of Assembly election.
Amongst those suspended by the Kogi Assembly were the majority leader of the House, Muhammed Bajeh, and the Lokoja council chairman, Muhammed Dan-Asebe for misappropriation of funds.
