Hon. Ibrahim Kurami, a member of the Katsina State House of Assembly representing the Bakori constituency, has died in Medina, Saudi Arabia.
Kurami died in Madinah at around 2:00 a.m. Nigerian time, according to his political associate, Alhaji Nasiru Danguga.
The legislator had gone to Medina for the lesser Hajji. The Saudi authorities will conduct his funeral prayer and burial, according to Danguna.
He was survived by two wives, eleven children, and three grandchildren.
Kurami was elected in a by-election to the Katsina State House of Assembly on October 31, 2020, following the death of his predecessor, Hon. Abdurrazak Ismail Tsiga.
