A member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Madami Garba Madami, has been reportedly dead.
The member of the Peoples Democratic Party, who represents Chikun Constituency at the state Assembly was said to have died of a prolonged undisclosed illness while receiving treatment at a hospital in the state, on Saturday morning.
Reports revealed that the late lawmaker could not attend the inauguration of the 10th Assembly, held on June 13, 2023, in the state.
While confirming the news of the death, a source in the area described the death of the deceased lawmaker as a sad one.
However, a traditional title holder in Chikun Local Government Area, Ibrahim Saleh Ardon Ardodin, also confirmed the incident and extended his condolences to the family of the deceased, while expressing sadness about the incident.
