The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shuaibu, has reportedly relocated from the government house.
Channels reported that the new office is situated at No. 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue, close to the Government House.
His relocation came as an aftermath of his suit filed at the Federal High Court to stop alleged plots by the state governor, Godwin Obaseki, to remove him from office.
However, the core reason the number two citizen of the state to relocated his office from the government house is uncertain.
According to sources, the deputy governor says the new office has not been completely renovated.
Shuaibu had filed a suit, alleging that Obaseki was planning to remove him from office by impeaching him. The suit was withdrawn on September 7, 2023.
