As the #EndBadGovernance protests enter their fifth day, foreign flags have been spotted in various parts of the country.
Russian and Japanese flags were seen in Jos, Plateau State, while Russian flags were also seen in Kano.
The protesters, mostly underage youths, called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to intervene in Nigeria, according to NewsNaija.
Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu has called on protesters to end the demonstrations, which began on August 1 and are expected to end on August 10.
Tinubu’s address came after prominent Nigerians, including Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, urged him to address the protesters’ demands.
The protests have been marred by looting and damage to government and private properties in some states.
Tinubu expressed sadness over the turmoil and violent protests, calling for an end to the demonstrations.
The protesters, hundreds of mostly underaged youths, urged Russian President Vladimir Putin to intervene in Nigeria.
“We are Nigerians, Russia; we need your help,” reads an inscription on one of the flags.
