Israeli Prime Minister’s Office Director General Yossi Shelley, on Monday, met with representatives of the families of those who were murdered at the Nova and Psyduck festivals on October 7.
The Director General, together with a PMO team, presented the families of those who were murdered with the support package that the state has hitherto provided, in order to assist them.
PMO representatives also learned about the families’ needs and unique requirements in order to provide them with an additional response that does not exist in the law or regulations.
Shelley at the conclusion of the meeting said, “We will continue staff work with the families’ representatives. We will advance a draft Government decision that will give binding validity to the many problems faced by those who were wounded and by the families of those who were murdered as a result of this horrific disaster.”
The families’ representatives at the conclusion of the meeting said, “The meeting that was held with the PMO Director General was very important for the families.
“The Director General and his team showed serious and substantive regard and it seems that there is a genuine desire to find solutions.
‘We are all hopeful that with the right cooperation, it will be possible to quickly reach solutions.”
