The Independent National Electoral Commission Lagos State is set to release the results of 12 Local Government Areas for the governorship election held on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
According to The Punch, this was disclosed by the Director of Voter Education, Mrs Adenike Tadeshe on Sunday at the state collation centre.
She stated that “We are about to commence the announcement of the results of 12 LGAs out of the 20 LGAs that are available.”
The Punch had earlier reported that the results of 10 polling units in Victoria Garden City of the Eti-Osa LGA were cancelled by the commission and rescheduled for today.
Meanwhile, Tadeshe did not mention this development in her statement.
It was reported that as of the time of filing this report, voting is still ongoing in the designated areas.
